A visit to Villmergen logistics center
An insight into warehousing logistics

Rich Content Section

Villmergen is home to Swiss Post’s largest warehouse logistics center, which it is currently expanding. Swiss Post does not sort parcels or letters here. Rather, this is where goods are stored, picked to order and delivered for companies and institutions from various sectors. The goods that Swiss Post stores in Villmergen range from refrigerators and protein shakes to dangerous substances. The logistics center specializes in integrated supply chain solutions for the healthcare industry. We look forward to meeting you.

Information

  • Please wear comfortable shoes, as we will be walking for over an hour.
  • Children: the guided tours are not aimed at children under the age of 10, but they may participate if accompanied by an adult (e.g. as part of a family visit). Children’s safety is important to us – logistics centers are industrial operations with noise, light, heat and cold. Children must be supervised by their parents at all times. Pushchairs are not permitted.
  • Tours are also suitable for people with a disability. Please discuss your needs with us in advance.
  • Dogs will have to stay at home, because the centers are noisy and hectic.
